Linda Camm Designs
'To enhance a skill of any person, is primarily the most beneficial attribute to that person. Using that skill in a commercial way gives that person confidence to yet improve on what they are already best at.' This was Linda's idea when she first started working with leather and beadwork.
The maasai have been working with leather and beads for hundreds of years. They profusely adorn themselves with beads and they use their own leather to make up belts and adornments for themselves and their men folk. We have moved that skill to a commercial level. We provide the tanned leather and the beads, and they continue to create designs and do beautiful beadwork.
Everything in their workshop is hand done, from the buckles being casted, to the beadwork, to the putting together of the items. 'Our quality continues to remain at a very high level, thanks to all working in my workshop.'
